LCSC Releases Meal Locations and Times Through March 30

To ensure students continue to receive healthy meals during school closings, Logansport School Corporation will provide breakfast and lunch to students on Tuesday, March 17 and Monday, March 30.

The LCSC Food Service Team will distribute pre-packaged meals at two LCSC locations.

Meals will be distributed between 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on March 17 and March 30 at the following locations:

  • Logansport High School Door 1
  • Columbia Elementary School Bus Entrance

Students will receive 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches on March 17 and March 30.

Meal service is open to all students 18 and younger, including non LCSC students. Meals are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

La Corporación Escolar de la Comunidad de Logansport (LCSC) da información sobre la ubicación y horarios en los que se distribuirá comidas.

Para garantizar que los estudiantes continúen recibiendo comidas saludables durante el cierre de las escuelas, la Corporación Escolar de la Comunidad de brindará desayuno y almuerzo a los estudiantes el martes 17 de marzo y el lunes 30 de marzo.


El Equipo de Servicio de Alimentos de LCSC distribuirá comidas pre-empacadas en dos ubicaciones de LCSC. 


Las comidas se distribuirán entre las 10 am las 12:00 horas del 17 de marzo y 30 de marzo en los siguientes lugares:


  • Escuela Preparatoria Logansport Puerta 1 (High School)
  • Escuela Primaria Columbia por la Puerta


El 17 y 30 de marzo los estudiantes recibirán 5 desayunos y 5 almuerzos.

El servicio de comidas está disponible para todos los estudiantes de 18 años y menores, incluyendo aquellos jóvenes que no son alumnos de LCSC.

Estos alimentos se repartirán hasta ser agotados por orden de llegada.

Important Message From Logansport Schools

All Logansport Community Schools are closed until May 1, 2020

On March 19, 2020, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced new steps to combat the spread of COVID-19, including mandated closures of all Indiana schools until May 1, 2020. This mandated closure follows recent Centers for Disease Control guidelines to limit gatherings to less than 10.  LCSC will reevaluate our return date at the end of April and will communicate if additional closure time is needed. The closure also includes cancellation/postponement of all after school practices, extra-curricular activities, as well as, all school and PTO sponsored events.

Indiana Department of of Education Testing Update

On March 19, 2020, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced the cancellation of all state testing, which includes the ISTEP10 and ILEARN assessments.

eLearning Information

Beginning Tuesday, April 7 through Thursday, April 30, all Logansport Community School Corporation students will begin utilizing eLearning. eLearning will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week. On Mondays and Fridays, teachers will be utilizing this time to prep and grade student assignments.

Meal Assistance for Students 

The LCSC Food Service Team will provide meals to anyone 18 and younger. 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches will be provided at each pickup location. Meal distribution will take place every Tuesday in April (Apr. 7, 14, 21, 28) at the following locations:

Logansport High School and Columbia Elementary School

Pickup Window: 10 am-2 pm 

Families are to stay in their vehicles in the meal distribution lines, as food packs will be delivered directly to the vehicle by LCSC staff. If you are unable to attend the meal pickup due to conflicting work hours or no transportation, please contact you students school and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Felix's Pantry will distribute additional food bags throughout the school closure period. Additional food resources: Emmaus Mission Center and Salvation Army
