As we navigate through this school year, how we communicate and share information is critical. Since the first day of school on August 18th, our corporation has reported one positive COVID-19 case at Logansport High School. All close contacts have been notified and we continue to work closely with the Cass County Health Department.

To ensure our parents and staff have access to COVID-19 data at our schools, we are creating a Coronavirus Impact Tracker that will report weekly positive COVID-19 cases at Logansport School Corporation. This information is now available on our website and data will be updated Friday of each week. You can access the tracker by clicking here: Coronavirus Impact Tracker. This data can also be found on Channel 18 for those without internet access.

When a positive case is reported, all close contacts will be notified by phone. If a positive case is reported and you are not contacted, you are not considered a close contact. It is important to have updated contact information on file at your child’s school in the event you would need to be contacted.

We encourage all parents, students, and staff to continue to self screen every morning and stay home if you are sick or displaying any COVID-19 symptoms. If you believe your student has COVID-19 or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive, please contact the school immediately or call the COVID-19 Hotline at 574-722-0551.

Please contact your child’s school if you have any questions.
