Logansport Police Department
Bailey Record
Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Our school corporation and the Logansport Police Department have a great working relationship. We are regularly in contact with each other, ensuring that our students, staff and the community are given the best preventive measures possible to ensure their safety. Each school building has its own school safety plan. These safety plans are reviewed by the Logansport Police Department and the corporation safety committee. The department has access to our camera systems in each building, allowing officers to view the schools at every angle. Along with having copies of building blueprints, LPD holds training in our schools to become familiar with the layout and increase their disaster preparedness.

The Logansport Police Department adheres to their mission statement, which states “We are committed to creating and maintaining a partnership with the community and our citizens.”

Thank you, Logansport Police Department, for your dedication to keeping our corporation and community safe. #NationalPoliceWeek
