Vicki Byrd was appointed to the Board in 2025. Recently retired from her position as Vice President of Planning and Development at Logansport Memorial Hospital, she is an accomplished executive leader in the not-for-profit sector, primarily focusing on healthcare, workforce development, and economic development. With over thirty years of experience, she has successfully rebranded organizations, identified growth strategies, implemented visions, managed grants, led essential initiatives and established task forces to drive innovation critical to mission success. Her strength lies in fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders to enhance system quality. Vicki has extensive experience in regional and local development, grant writing, operational procedures and policy, planning, fundraising, project management, quality improvement, and board development. She is an active member of the Logansport Rotary, Logansport Kiwanis, and Logansport Re-Imagined. Additionally, she attends the Church of the Good Shepherd, where she serves on the Finance Committee. Previously, Vicki was a board member of the Ivy Tech Board of Trustees and the United Way of Cass County, where she held the positions of Board Chair and Campaign Chair. She has also served on the board of the Logansport/Cass County Chamber of Commerce and the Logansport Parks Foundation. Vicki has received several honors, including the Cass County Chamber of Commerce Businesswoman of the Year, the Arden Cramer Humanitarian Award, and recognition as a Heartland Women in Business Honoree. Vicki resides in Logansport with her husband, William. They have two adult children, Emily Metheny and Rachel Huffman, both graduates of Logansport High School, as well as six grandchildren.
