In Miss Rodriguez’s Finish Line group, our 3rd and 4th graders practiced using We Will Write to craft clear argumentative statements. They especially loved making their cases for which animal would win in a matchup. As a class, they wrote a total of 2,586 words!

Miss Blackburn’s class spent the short week last week learning all about Thanksgiving and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. They read “Balloons Over Broadway” and then created their own “balloons” to parade around the school. Joined by a few other classes, they got to celebrate this fun tradition together!

🎄 Save the Date: K-2 Annual Christmas Program! 🎶
Get ready for an evening of holiday cheer! We are so excited to invite our families to see our Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders perform at this year’s Christmas Program.
Here are the details you need to know:
📅 When: Wednesday, December 17th
⏰ Time: Performance starts at 6:00 PM
📍 Where: McHale Auditorium (High School)
For Parents of Performers: Please have your student at the auditorium by 5:30 PM. We will direct them to their seats when they arrive.
👔 Dress Code: There are no themed outfits required this year. We simply ask that students dress nicely and look festive!
Optional: Holiday headbands or Santa hats are welcome if your child wants to wear one. 🎅
We can't wait to celebrate the season with you!
