This week Logansport Junior High School has seen a large increase in the number of students and staff who have been advised to quarantine due to possible COVID-19 exposure. It is for this reason that beginning Monday, November 16, Logansport Junior High School will transition to e-learning through Tuesday, November 24.
Logansport Junior High Students will begin a hybrid schedule beginning Monday, November 30 through Friday, January 15. A hybrid schedule is a mixture of in-person and online instruction which reduces the number of students on campus at any given time. We anticipate transitioning back to fully in-person instruction on Monday, January 18. More information about the hybrid schedule is forthcoming and will be shared by Wednesday, November 18.
LCSC Administrators and the School Board of Trustees continuously monitor COVID-19 cases and quarantines at each building. At this time, all K-6 students will continue in-person instruction next week as scheduled.
We continue to work closely with our nursing staff, the Cass County Health Department and the Indiana Department of Health and will make additional changes as needed. Reducing the spread of COVID-19 is a community effort and we appreciate your efforts in mitigating the spread. Please mask up, social distance, and wash hands often. Esta semana, en la secundaria Logansport (Logansport Junior High School) se ha visto un gran aumento en la cantidad de estudiantes y personal a los que se les ha recomendado que se pongan en cuarentena debido a una posible exposición al COVID-19.
