HSE Testing (previously called GED)

The HSE test includes 5 sections (Reading, Language/Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies). The test is all multiple choice, except for the essay.

The cost for the test is $115 and must be paid in cash before the day of the test.

Testers must have an un-expired government-issued photo ID and proof of Indiana residency.

Testers must be 18 years of age or 16 with a signed exit form.

To register for the HSE test, the tester must bring in EXACTLY $115 CASH (we rarely have change and cannot take a check or debit card) and a photo ID and fill out an information sheet at least 2 days before the test. If the tester is less than 18 years of age, he or she must bring a parent or guardian at the time of registering for the test.
