The Logansport High School Alumni Association invites you to its inaugural Alumni Gala on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Vibrant Event Center in Logansport.
Join us for a memorable evening of music, celebration, and Berry pride as we honor two incredible milestones — the 100th birthday of Felix the Cat, Indiana’s oldest high school mascot, and the 155th anniversary of Logansport High School.
The celebration begins at 6 PM with a festive cocktail reception featuring live jazz by talented LHS alumni musicians. From 7 PM to 10 PM, enjoy a dinner, silent auction, and Felix & Fingers Dueling Pianos, who will keep us entertained, as well as some special surprises along the way.
We’re honored to welcome special guest Don Oriolo, returning to Logansport to help celebrate Felix the Cat’s 100th birthday. Don also joined us for Felix’s 90th celebration in 2016.
The son of Joe Oriolo—protégé of Felix’s original artist Otto Messmer and creator of Casper the Friendly Ghost—Don has carried on his family’s remarkable creative legacy. A renowned artist, musician, painter, cartoonist, and producer, Don’s career spans the art, music, television, and film industries. After taking over the Felix the Cat franchise in 1985, he expanded it globally through new licensing, television, films, and video games, introducing Felix to new generations worldwide. Admired for his creativity and philanthropic spirit, Don continues to inspire through his artwork, music, and lifelong dedication to sharing Felix’s joy with fans around the world.

Celebrate the 100th birthday of Felix the Cat and the 155th anniversary of Logansport High School with special guest Don Oriolo! Enjoy a grazing-style dinner with a variety of hot and cold selections, a cash bar, and a silent auction. The night features live entertainment by Felix & Fingers Dueling Pianos and more—an evening of reconnecting, reminiscing, and celebrating all things LHS!
Attire: Senior cords, team jerseys, Berry gear, cocktail, or semi-formal — show your Berry pride and come ready to celebrate!
WHY WE CELEBRATE
The Logansport High School Alumni Association exists to celebrate our shared Berry pride and to give back to the school that shaped generations. Founded in 2019, the Association supports students, teachers, and programs that continue the tradition of excellence within the Logansport Community School Corporation.
Through alumni donations and events like the Alumni Gala, we’ve already invested over $25,000 in classroom grants, student organizations, and special projects that make a lasting impact.
When you attend or sponsor the Gala, you’re helping today’s Berries dream bigger, achieve more, and carry forward the spirit of Felix the Cat and 155 years of Logansport tradition.
